The Village Learning Coaches
Founder/Lead Learning Coach
LaJuana has been a public school educator for more than 24 years. She attained a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Columbia College and later received a Master of Arts in Education from Central Michigan University. Beginning her career in South Carolina as a third grade teacher, she later relocated to the metro Atlanta area and has worked in three of its major school systems where she has taught kindergarten, first, and second grades. Teaching adult education at Chattahoochee Technical College has been a most recent endeavor that she has come to love. LaJuana is also a former Director of Admissions/Instructional Coach for a local private school.
LaJuana was voted, by her peers, as her school's Teacher of the Year for the 2013-2014 school year. She published her first children's book in 2009 (Lucy's Imagination) and will soon add others to the series.
Throughout most of her life LaJuana has been a chosen leader because she is wise, organized, thorough, and she's a self-starter who is full of creativity and talent. LaJuana loves the art of teaching and feels very grateful to finally be able to live her dream... teaching beyond the boundaries.
(*As Key of D Hybrid Homeschool Village's student enrollment increases, we are very excited to already have highly qualified Learning Coaches waiting to join our team.)
